Hilton’s All Suites brands will now have a bigger presence close to transport hubs and in downtown areas.

All Suites follows up on major expansion with a healthy pipeline

Hilton’s All Suites brands have had a good year so far. The first and second quarters were defined by heavy growth in urban areas and sites close to airports.

So far, the collection of brands operates over 1000 properties between them, and it’s on track to add even more hotels before the year is out.

The All Suites brands include Embassy Suites by Hilton, Homewood Suites by Hilton and Home2 Suites by Hilton. Homewood will open its 500th property in Q3 2019 while Home2 Suites will reach 400 hotels by the beginning of 2020.

Dianna Vaughan, global head and senior vice president, All Suites brands by Hilton, spoke of the portfolio’s strategy for success, saying, “As a category, the All Suites brands by Hilton pride themselves on being responsive to travellers’ preferences, and this includes working to grow our footprint so we have a presence everywhere our loyal guests want to stay.”

“By using innovative building models, such as multi-brand properties, adaptive re-use and modular construction, we have been able to expand into traditionally high-barrier-to-entry downtown markets as well as key airport proximate locations,” she went on to say.

All Suites goals and pipelines

Together, the All Suites brands have almost 600 properties currently in the pipeline. On top of continued success and growth, the category has also set the bar high in terms of reaching its sustainability goals.

Recently the collection met their milestone of gathering enough bars of guest soaps to be recycled into 1 million new bars of soap by Global Handwashing Day on October 15.

Homewood Suites recently celebrated its 30th birthday, and the brand’s global head Rick Colling has embarked on a tour of all the brand’s properties to commemorate this special anniversary.

Cities which have welcomed new All Suites properties in their downtown areas include Grand Rapids, Chicago South Loop and Toronto, while airports in San Francisco and Salt Lake City now have an All Suites presence in them as well.
