The 156-key hotel marks a notable expansion for Best Western Hotels & Resorts in The Mother City.
Best Western Hotels & Resorts will be adding Fountains Hotel, Cape Town to its growing portfolio of properties in Africa.
The new 156-key Best Western Fountains Hotel is in the heart of the city’s central business district. This prime spot makes it a viable and excellent choice for both business and leisure guests.
Most of the hotel’s rooms will feature stunning views, including those over the harbour as well as out above bustling Thibault Square or Table Mountain.
Best services at Best Western
A full-service hotel, the property is home to a restaurant offering a buffet-style breakfast, lunch and dinner and provides 24-hour room service. Five conference rooms for up to 250 guests offer ample meeting space and a cocktail lounge welcomes those who want to unwind after a long day.
“With this exceptional addition of Best Western Fountains Hotel to our growing presence in Africa, we are excited to add to our presence in Cape Town,” said Suzi Yoder, Senior Vice President, International Operations for Best Western Hotels & Resorts.
“This addition to our portfolio will allow us to further showcase the Best Western brand to both domestic and international visitors to Cape Town.”
A popular destination
Cape Town is known colloquially as South Africa’s Mother City and is home to the established Best Western Cape Suites property.
It’s a tourist-friendly city, renowned for both its beauty and its pleasant climate. Cape Town offers many great destinations for visitors to enjoy, including the famous Table Mountain.
Other popular activities there include a stroll around the city center or to the Victoria and Albert Waterfront, Cape Town’s most visited tourist destination. The Cape Town International Convention Center is a mere walk from the hotel.
“We are excited to join the Best Western Hotels & Resorts family of brands and expand our sales efforts using the tools and expertise that Best Western Hotels & Resorts provides,” said Jacques Osse, Owner of Best Western Fountains Hotel.
“Their established connection with South African Airways means that our local clients can immediately benefit through the Best Western Rewards loyalty club.”
