The five-star Paradis Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa is set to undergo an extensive refurbishment project spanning both its accommodation and public areas.

On reopening in the autumn, the property will unveil two new restaurants as well as newly enhanced guest rooms and suites throughout the resort.

Reopening plans

The family-friendly Paradis Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa in Mauritius will be closed between June and October of this year while the resort’s refurbishment project takes place. There will be a soft opening in October, with all facilities then available from November.

The luxurious resort is located on Le Morne peninsula, on the southwestern tip of Mauritius, by a vast lagoon and with a backdrop of Le Morne Brabant.

Here, guests can make the most of the white sand beach and large lagoon this resort is set on. Activities at the resort include a range of water sports and golf can be played nearby.

New enhancements

The resort’s refurbishment project encompasses the renovation of more than 120 rooms and eight suites, with new design and furnishings, along with the creation of two new restaurants.

Of these restaurants, the ocean-view Blue Marlin dining concept will be relocated and reimagined with new ocean-inspired design, a fine dining ‘surf and turf’ offering and a focus on wine. A lounge area will provide private dining space for small groups.

The restaurant formerly known as La Palma will then be relaunched in a new location and with a new concept as Zest. This dining concept will focus on promoting togetherness through Mediterranean sharing menus and a laidback alfresco dining space with Mediterranean design touches.
