25hours gets new operations director
German hotel group 25hours Hotels has named Dutch native Bart Felix as their new Director of Operations. Felix joins 25hours following a distinguished career at both Hilton and InterContinental Hotels Group, where he held various positions, including General Manager.
His most recent posting was as Managing Partner at Tellerrand-Consulting GmbH in Hamburg, where he oversaw HR development, finance and business strategy. As operations director at 25hours, he will build on all of this previous experience, and draw not just on his days as a general manager and managing partner, but also on his experience conceiving and opening restaurants.
The new role
Felix will be responsible for the development of strategies and standards for existing and newly opened hotels under the group’s name around the world. He will also ensure the smooth running and continued success of the 13 properties currently operated by 25hours.
He spoke of his new role, saying, “I’m looking forward to my new challenge at the 25hours hotels. At the young and dynamic hotel brand, I can ideally combine my structural knowledge of hotels with my innovative and emotional gastronomy skills and work together with my colleagues.”
