The Eight Inc-designed Sindhorn Midtown, which opened its doors at the very start of the pandemic, will be the inaugural Asian hotel for IHG’s new collection brand.
Sindhorn Midtown will bolster the British hotel group’s footprint in South-East Asia.
Vignette Collection set to expand
This month, IHG and Siam Sindhorn Co have announced that Sindhorn Midtown in Bangkok will join the former’s new luxury and lifestyle brand, Vignette Collection, in March 2022. The news further builds on the successful partnership between the two companies that led to the opening of Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok in 2020, which signified the launch of the Kimpton brand in South-East Asia. Both hotels lie within the Sindhorn Village development project.

Bold art and design
The 393-key Sindhorn Midtown, which opened in March 2020, was designed by Eight Inc, with effortless elegance displayed through inspired interiors integrating innovative technology and bold art. Each room and suite is decorated with artworks from local artists such as Kachama Perez and design accents like Fritz Hansen’s iconic Drop chairs.
The hotel is home to three restaurants and bars, including a collaboration with Michelin-starred establishment Saneh Jaan, along with a rooftop pool, a fitness centre and more than 170 sq m of meeting space. Located in the neighbourhood of Langsuan, the property is just 40 minutes away from Suvarnabhumi Airport.
