Capella’s grand entrance to the Greater Bay
The 17-story Capella Hotel in Macau will feature 36 expansive residences, which will be fitted with a private balcony, swimming pool, outdoor lounge, and sunroom.
The residences, known as Sky Villas, will also be complete with an entertainment lounge, games room, and a fully-stocked bar.
“Capella at Galaxy Macau signifies a pivotal moment for Capella Hotels and Resorts as we expand into The Greater Bay Area,” said Evan Kwee, Vice-Chairman of Capella Hotel Group.
“Through our partnership with Galaxy Entertainment Group, we are excited to introduce travellers to Macau’s rich cultural heritage, delivering thoughtful and enriching experiences while fostering meaningful connections with the local community.”
A collaborative affair
Interiors for Capella’s Macau outpost will be handled by Bruno Moinard and Claire Bētaille of Paris-based interior design firm Moinard Bētaille. The duo focused on Macau’s distinctive aesthetic to create a bright outlook.
The Macau hotel will also contain several food and beverage options, including a restaurant crafted alongside Michelin-starred chef Vicky Cheng and a members-only alfresco lounge.
Capella Hotels & Resorts is behind some of the most critically lauded hotel openings in recent years, including the award-winning Capella Singapore. The gruop is slated to open several new resorts in the next few years, including Capella Kyoto and Capella Maldives.
