Minor Hotels' upscale lifestyle brand, Avani Hotels & Resorts, will be launching its first Dutch property in a continued European expansion.

The hotel, to be named Avani Museum Quarter Amsterdam, will be housed in a refurbished mid-century building in the heart of the city’s museum district.

A stone’s throw from the best of Amsterdam

The 163-room canal-side property will spread over seven floors and cater to both business and leisure travellers. An outdoor terrace is also planned, overlooking a leafy interior courtyard.

Avani Museum Quarter Amsterdam will be located close to Vondelpark and several of the city’s most renowned cultural landmarks. This includes Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh Museum and the Stedelijk Museum.

Guests can also access the bustling PC Hooftstraat shopping street and the vibrant De Pijp neighbourhood, both a five-minute walk away.

Amsterdam Central Station is easily reachable within ten minutes by taxi and for business travellers, the RAI Exhibition and Convention Centre is a 25-minute walk.
