The debut of Avani Muscat next to the Al Araimi Boulevard Mall marks the long-awaited arrival of this upbeat, contemporary hospitality brand to the Sultanate of Oman.

A hotel likely to appeal to business travellers, digital nomads and leisure visitors alike, Avani Muscat features contemporary design and a plethora of lifestyle amenities.

Avani ventures into a new market

The Safari International Group-owned Avani Muscat is now hosting guests in the prime residential area of Seeb, which is at the heart of the city’s westward growth. It lies adjacent to the Al Araimi Boulevard Mall, a five-minute drive from Mall of Muscat and close to Seeb’s traditional souq.

“We are excited to kick off 2022 with the debut of the cool Avani brand in historical Oman, signifying Minor Hotels’ growth commitment in the Middle East,” said Amir Golbarg, senior vice president of operations for Minor Hotels (parent company of Avani Hotels & Resorts) in the Middle East and Africa. “Avani Muscat Hotel is poised to hit the sweet spot and balance between the leisure and business travellers, with the property debuting in the upcoming CBD area of Seeb.”

Avani Hotels & Resorts is already well-established in the Middle East, with three properties in Dubai, and Avani Bilaj Al Jazayer Bahrain Resort set to open in 2024.

An appealing lifestyle offering

Avani Muscat’s interiors fuse sleek contemporary style with heritage-inspired accents.

The property comprises 161 guestrooms designed to provide a soothing but stimulating environment, decorated with natural materials and Omani tones, and incorporating in-room workspaces. These guestrooms are joined by 45 residential studios and one-, two- and three-bedroom serviced apartments with the same Avani aesthetic.

During their stay, guests can dine at nature-inspired all-day dining restaurant Trisis, serving Omani, Arabic and international cuisines, and poolside Patio Bar. Meals and specialty coffee are also offered at gourmet grab-and-go concept Pantry. Meanwhile, there are exercise and health club amenities available at AvaniFit, as well as an AvaniKids kids club and pool.

Lastly, the hotel’s multifunctional event space encompasses a 720 sq m ballroom, two large meeting rooms and a private majlis.
