Asia’s Absolute Hotel Services announces 3 hotel projects in Russia and CIS region

Bangkok-headquartered Absolute Hotel Services targets over 5,000 rooms in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) region by the end of 2022.

The CEO of Absolute Hotel Services Group Jonathan Wigley announced an expansion into the vibrant Russian market and CIS region.

“Based on both strategic and opportunistic motivators the Absolute Hotel Services Group has fully entered and committed to the Russian and CIS Region with a dedicated company and office to enable growth of our property portfolio and geographic footprint with this expansion. Considering the strong and historic relationship in tourism between Russia and Asia, this expansion is a natural fit for us as an Asia-based hospitality group,” he said.

AHS aims to expand quickly with 3 projects already secured and under development in the Black Sea area and we target over 5000 rooms in the region by the end of 2022. “We view Russia and the CIS region as a very important part of our dynamic expansion and have shown our commitment with our recently opened office in Moscow.”

“We are looking at all possible destinations for portfolio growth in the region based on a mix of international, regional and domestic demand drivers with our U Hotels & Resorts, Eastin Grand Hotels & Resorts and Eastin Hotels & Residences brands. We are confident of bringing the best of these two regions together and we will be able to deliver success to all stakeholders,” Wigley said.

El objetivo de Absolute Hotel Services, con sede en Bangkok, es disponer de más de 5.000 habitaciones en la región de la Comunidad de Estados Independientes (CEI) para finales de 2022.

El director general de Absolute Hotel Services Group, Jonathan Wigley, anunció una expansión en el vibrante mercado ruso y en la región de la CEI.

«Basándose en motivadores tanto estratégicos como oportunistas, Absolute Hotel Services Group entró de lleno y comprometido con la región rusa y de la CEI con una compañía y una oficina dedicadas a permitir el crecimiento de nuestro portfolio de propiedades y de nuestra huella geográfica con esta expansión. Considerando la fuerte e histórica relación en el turismo entre Rusia y Asia, esta expansión es un encaje natural para nosotros como grupo hotelero con sede en Asia», comenta.

AHS pretende expandirse rápidamente con 3 proyectos ya asegurados y en desarrollo en el área del Mar Negro.
