Adagio, one of Europe’s largest aparthotel operators, has appointed Arthur Jaeger as its Chief Development and Real Estate Officer.

Adagio pushes forward

Arthur Jaeger, who brings extensive experience in the hospitality and real estate sectors and a keen interest in strategic development to Adagio, will support the implementation of the “Next ADAGIO” growth plan and the development of the network as his main mission.

A graduate of civil engineering and business administration, Arthur Jaeger began his career at Bouygues Construction as a site manager. After discovering the hospitality sector, for which he is passionate, he joined the Hospitality division of Vinci Immobilier.

Within Adagio, Arthur will be responsible for implementing the ambitious development program of the “Next Adagio” strategic plan, in the context of brand transformation and sustained development of the network – which will double by 2030.

His missions will range from leading the Development and Programs teams in France and Europe, integrating the company CSR approach into each development project, to managing the brand’s renovation plan to support its move upmarket.

He will also guarantee the “asset-light” orientation of the development plan, drawing on the expertise of Adagio shareholders and the internalisation of key skills to support the franchise network.

Strong experience

“Joining Adagio was an obvious decision. It is a company with strong human values and incredible growth potential. What excites me the most is the diversity of the projects and the dynamism of the teams, and this opportunity to take concrete action to reinvent the hospitality sector. I look forward to contributing to the success of this great adventure,” says Arthur Jaeger.

“We are delighted to welcome Arthur to our team. His experience, drive and strategic vision are valuable assets for Adagio, as we enter a new phase of our development. I am convinced that he will play a key role in achieving our ambitions for the years to come.” Xavier Desaulles, CEO of Adagio.

Adagio was created in France in 2007 as a joint venture between Accor and Pierre & Vacances Centre Parcs. The company now has 131 sites and 14,851 apartments, spread across 16 countries. This is the largest network of aparthotels in Europe.
