The real estate investment company has highlighted the development potential of its newly acquired asset, the 150-room Selsdon Park Hotel, in southern England.

With the purchase of this elegant property, Aprirose has bolstered its hotel and leisure portfolio.

A new acquisition

Selsdon Park Hotel comprises a 200-acre parkland estate, which is located on the edge of the Surrey countryside, just 12 miles from London. After buying the property from De Vere Hotels, real estate investment company Aprirose is already eyeing opportunities to develop the site.

Manish Gudka, CEO of Aprirose, said: “As part of our ongoing strategy to grow our portfolio of high-quality hospitality and leisure assets, we are pleased to have acquired Selsdon Park Hotel. The estate represents a great fit for Aprirose, it’s a large, well-located site, and we’re excited by the potential to develop and enhance the existing amenities.”

Continued growth

The elegant hotel currently encompasses 150 guestrooms, along with amenities aimed at both business and leisure travellers, including dining venues, a leisure centre, and meeting and conferencing facilities. The estate also features tennis courts, a running trail and an 18-hole golf course.

This property joins Aprirose’s growing portfolio of owned and operated hotels, with the company currently managing 21 properties for the likes of QHotels, Delta Hotels by Marriott and DoubleTree by Hilton. In 2018, the company also invested in lifestyle concept Birch.
