Ippolito Fleitz Group – Identity Architects is expanding its hotel and F&B division and has recently appointed Andreas Bohlender as Director Hospitality. This new hire signals growth and a new strategic direction for the firm, especially in the hospitality sector.
New leadership for a growing hospitality vision
Mr. Bohlender will be based in the company’s Berlin studio and will lead the development of hotel and F&B (Food & Beverage) concepts, acting as the main liaison for clients. Prior to joining Ippolito Fleitz Group, Mr. Bohlender spent 11 years at Design Hotels’ headquarters, where he was instrumental in expanding the firm’s global hotel portfolio and shaping its corporate strategy.

Bohlender’s international footprint
Showcasing his broad exposure to both luxury and mainstream hospitality, Mr. Bohlender has over 20 years of international experience working with major hotel brands (Starwood Hotels, Rocco Forte Hotels), luxury properties (Traube Tonbach, Castello del Sole), and organizations such as UEFA, Deloitte, and the Doha Asian Games Organising Committee.
He is a graduate of César Ritz Colleges Switzerland and holds a B.A. from Washington State University and a master’s degree from Macquarie University Sydney.
