Minor Hotels will be bringing a new-build resort and branded residences to the Indonesian island of Bali.

The resort, to be named Anantara Dragon Seseh Bali Resort, is slated for open in 2027. It will be the first luxury beachfront resort on Seseh Beach and the third Anantara Hotels & Resorts property in Bali.

A unique island location

The Anantara Dragon Seseh Bali Resort is located on the black volcanic shores of Seseh Beach, a short drive from southern coast hotspots Canggu and Seminyak and an hour from Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS).

Anantara Dragon Seseh Bali Resort will be a 216-key property with a mix of lead-in rooms and suites ranging from 52sqm to 120sqm. The private residences will all provide water views.

The Seseh Beach resort will be home to a range of amenities, including a dedicated spa, yoga and meditation studios, fitness centre, an on-site surf school, and three swimming pools.

Guests will also have their F&B needs met with three dining outlets; an all-day dining restaurant, speciality Japanese restaurant and a poolside bar.

British architect John Dawes was brought on board for the project, as well as property developer Taryan Group, which also owns the resort.

Capitalising on the branded residences trend

The Anantara Dragon Seseh Bali Residences will be available for purchase through Taryan Group, with Anantara providing overall resort management

The Seseh Beach project is not the only Bali venture from Minor Hotels in the pipeline. The hotel group is expanding its footprint in Bali this year, with the addition of the Anantara Ubud Bali Resort, opening in September.
