Hilton Garden Inn’s newbuild 108-room property, which overlooks Albany Waterfront Marina on the coast of Western Australia, has thrown open its doors to guests.

This contemporary scheme introduces Hilton Worldwide’s prolific brand to yet another country.

A milestone opening

The newly opened Hilton Garden Inn Albany, a five-storey newbuild at 3 Toll Place overlooking Albany Waterfront Marina, accommodates travellers across 108 guestrooms. Owned by Foreshore Management and managed by Hilton, it’s the first hotel to open under the Hilton Garden Inn brand in Australasia.

“We are thrilled to partner with Foreshore Management to open our first Hilton Garden Inn in Australasia in the thriving regional cultural, commercial and coastal hub of Albany, Western Australia,” said Heidi Kunkel, vice president of operations in Australasia for Hilton. “The hotel marks Hilton’s fourth hotel in the state and joins sister properties Hilton Parmelia Perth, DoubleTree by Hilton Perth Northbridge and DoubleTree by Hilton Perth Waterfront.

“Its opening demonstrates our ongoing commitment to the state and our first foray into regional Western Australia. We look forward to further growing the Hilton Garden Inn brand in regional centres, as this hotel will be joined by Hilton Garden Inn Busselton in 2023.”

Jenny Milos, vice president of focused service and all suites brands in Asia Pacific for Hilton, added: “Our Hilton Garden Inn brand is rapidly growing throughout Asia Pacific with almost 50 operating hotels and 110 properties in the pipeline, and we are delighted to add our first in Australasia today. With the imminent return to travel, we believe that the award-winning focused-service Hilton Garden Inn brand will be extremely well-received in Australasia, with just the right amenities for guests seeking to maximise the value of their travel experiences.”

Designed for business and leisure travellers

Hilton Garden Inn Albany’s strategically positioned alongside Albany Entertainment Centre and within walking distance of the city centre, Western Australia Museum and Albany Farmers Market. It’s also just a 20-minute drive from Albany Airport and close to the station.

The hotel’s 108 keys, including king, twin, accessible and connecting options plus six deluxe rooms, all feature Suite Dreams by Serta beds, complimentary wifi, HD TVs and workspaces with ergonomic chairs.

These rooms are joined by various amenities, including a 24-hour fitness centre, self-service laundry facilities, a restaurant featuring an open kitchen for breakfast and dinner, a 24-hour grab-and-go shop with coffee bar, and a bar serving food with cocktails, craft beers and wines from Western Australia.

The property also boasts 160 sq m of flexible event space comprising three meeting rooms, which can be combined, with in-built audio and visual technology, as well as floor-to-ceiling windows providing attractive views over the marina.
