A Growing Brand
Adagio is, to be sure, a quickly-developing brand within the hospitality space.
After it opens the Aparthotel Adagio London Brentford on October 16, the brand will continue to expand its footprint in England’s largest city. Indeed, it already has locations in a number of cities, including Edinburgh, Liverpool and Birmingham. By the end of the year, it will have opened yet another hotel property in Leicester.
The next hotels for the brand will bring 136 rooms to a London Stratford location in 2020, followed by 162 to its Glasgow Saint Enoch location by 2021.
The History of the Brand
With so many exciting things happening for the brand’s future, it is important to consider its past.
This brand was actually born of a joint venture between Accor and Pierre et Vacances. By the end of the year, it will reach a milestone — 115 total hotels under its umbrella. Within those 115 hotels, there will be 13,000 rooms spread throughout 13 countries, which is an impressive stature for a young brand.
Meanwhile, by the year 2023, the brand aims to have 220 hotels with 27,000 rooms around the world, the vast majority of which will be outside of its native country of France.
