The French hospitality giant is preparing to open the 194-key Greet Hotel Darmstadt following the conversion of an existing property near Frankfurt.

Signifying the Greet brand’s entry to German-speaking markets, this newly renovated hotel occupies the former home of The Hotel Darmstadt.

A significant events hub

The new Greet Hotel Darmstadt is owned by Warimpex Finanz- und Beteiligungs, and the Vienna-based company’s subsidiary Boyauville Betriebs will operate it in partnership with Cycas Hospitality. Founded in 2019, the Greet hotel brand aims to provide a cost-effective, efficient and sustainable hospitality experience, and this philosophy is reflected at its new outpost in Darmstadt.

The property is conveniently located just a few minutes’ walk from the main railway station and city centre, while Frankfurt Airport is a 20-minute drive away.

Much of this hotel’s focus revolves around its events, conference and exhibition offering; it has 4,500 sq m of indoor meeting space, along with 5,000 sq m of outdoor event space, making it one of the largest meeting and event venues in the entire Rhine-Main region.

An appealing base for business travellers

Upon opening on 30 August 2021, Greet Hotel Darmstadt will accommodate guests across 194 rooms spanning four different categories and spread over four floors.

A showcase of smart functionality, this hotel features a modern and open design, as demonstrated by its 1,000 sq m lobby with lounge area and bar serving small à la carte dishes, and local wines and beers. Amenities within the property include an in-house restaurant for breakfast and lunch, which also caters for events, and a 24-hour games lounge with table soccer and billiards, as well as a fitness studio.

The scheme’s event space comprises 37 meeting, event and project rooms, plus offices with event technology. These are joined by a library-style lounge and a 5,000 sq m garden.
