Fairmont Hanoi, showcasing the design talents of Perkins Eastman and Aston Design, will boast 241 luxury rooms, six F&B venues and a huge 1,000 sq m grand ballroom.

The luxury hotel brand is preparing to enter Vietnam’s capital in style.

Local inspiration

Located next to the streets of Ly Thai To and Tran Nguyen Han, the newly announced Fairmont Hanoi will place guests in the heart of the city centre when it opens in 2024..

This highly anticipated property is being designed by Perkins Eastman and Aston Design as a reflection of Thăng Long culture and history, taking inspiration from lacquer art, Indochinese style and motifs from Vietnam’s dynasties.

“The signing of the first Fairmont city hotel in Vietnam is a significant step forward in Accor’s development within the country,” said Garth Simmons, CEO of Accor Southeast Asia, Japan and South Korea. “Our ambition is to debut a greater collection of premium and luxury offerings to meet the rapidly growing demand for high-end hospitality in the market. A stay in any Fairmont hotel is truly unforgettable – our guests love to visit this collection of grand, awe-inspiring properties and appreciate the thoughtful service they receive each and every stay.

“Fairmont Hanoi will offer an experience that is steeped in local culture and is sure to become intrinsic to the local neighbourhood. The signing of this iconic address demonstrates our appreciation for Vietnam’s development of tourism and its ability to provide leading hotel standards.”

An urban retreat

This urban resort will treat guests to no fewer than six dining and drinking venues, including a rooftop restaurant, and provide appealing amenities such as two indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a gym, a spa and a bathhouse. Catering for both corporate and celebratory events, the property is to incorporate an impressive 1,000 sq m grand ballroom, as well as nine meeting rooms.

Thanks to its central location, the forthcoming hotel is only a ten-minute walk from Hoàn Kiếm Lake and the Old Quarter. It aims to become a firm favourite for leisure and business travellers alike, with a hospitality offering reflecting the 1907-founded luxury brand’s roots and global reputation.
