Malang has been buoyed by the arrival of a new hotel filled with attractive artistic touches.

A reflection of the location

Accor has created the new Grand Mercure Malang Mirama in partnership with PT Mirama Wisata. Reflecting the premium hotel brand’s philosophy of honouring local customs and preserving authenticity, this property pays tribute to the creative community that surrounds it, with local materials and artwork evident throughout.

Garth Simmons, CEO of Accor Southeast Asia, Japan and South Korea, said: “We are proud to launch Grand Mercure Malang Mirama as our first premium property in Malang, to bring locally tailored experiences and a truly distinctive sense of hospitality. We are confident this property will redefine the hospitality landscape in the city and look forward to welcoming our guests for a hotel experience that blends local touches, while offering the highest international quality of services and offerings.”

An inspired hospitality experience

The new hotel houses 264 guestrooms and suites, with interiors that take inspiration from Indonesian batik. Smart TVs and high-speed wifi feature in every room.

Guests can dine at multi-cuisine all-day dining restaurant Trimurti, classic and modern Chinese restaurant Lan Hua and modern Japanese restaurant Ebisu. These establishments are joined by the hotel’s Coffee Café, Sky Lounge and Executive Lounge.

Leisure amenities at the hotel include an outdoor swimming pool, spa, sauna, Jacuzzi and fitness facilities. Meanwhile, both business and social events are catered for in the city’s largest pillarless grand ballroom, accommodating up to 2,200 people, and 12 function rooms.

Grand Mercure Malang Mirama is located just 15 minutes away from Abdul Rachman Saleh Airport.
