Hospitality giant Accor has opened a new hotel complex in Bandung on the Indonesian island of Java, showcasing the best facets of the Pullman and Ibis Styles brands.

Situated in a prime area of Bandung, the development is designed to provide a cosmopolitan urban sanctuary where business meets leisure.

Upping the ante for hospitality in West Java

Accor’s two new hotels, Pullman Bandung Grand Central and Ibis Style Bandung Grand Central, lie side by side in what is one of the city’s most prestigious neighbourhoods. Here, guests are surrounded by tourist attractions and shopping outlets, as well as corporate offices.

“We are pleased to open our first multi-branded hotel complex in Bandung, capital of Indonesia’s West Java province,” said Garth Simmons, chief executive officer for Accor in Southeast Asia, Japan and South Korea. “The launch of these two brands marks another milestone for Accor’s development, strengthening its position as a global and regional hospitality leader and showing the growth of our premium and economy brands in Indonesia.”

The Pullman Bandung experience

The new 279-room Pullman hotel provides a premium, hyper-connected experience. All rooms and suites come with floor-to-ceiling windows, along with amenities such as smart TVs, high-speed wifi and Pullman’s high-quality bedding and pillow menu.

West Java’s spirit of evolution is integrated into every aspect of the hotel. For example, the decoration of the reception area is inspired by the colours of a peacock, and the ballroom features a wall relief inspired by the traditional West Javanese peacock dance.

Culinary experiences here highlight the finest produce Bandung has to offer. Sandrasa Kitchen & Bar offers a modern take on traditional recipes and international favourites, while T-Box Lounge provides a social space from early afternoon to late at night, and Mad Cow Wine & Grill specialises in prime meats and wines.

Lastly, Pullman Bandung International Convention Centre hosts up to 2,000 guests in two ballrooms and 19 function rooms with the latest technology, including a giant video wall, several built-in multiscreen video walls and digital flipcharts. Whether guests are here for business or leisure, they can also make use of the hotel’s Power Fitness space.

A dynamic stay at Ibis Styles

The neighbouring Ibis Style hotel aims to balance an active lifestyle with a sense of wanderlust through its services, facilities and modern design encompassing vibrant colours and standout lighting. From its third-floor lobby, guests can head to the family-friendly sTREATs Restaurant and junior guests can enjoy the kid’s corner.

The 240-key property, where some of the rooms overlook historic building Gedung Sate, is distinguished by bright and comfortable decor inspired by the greenery of the paddy fields and West Java’s beautiful landscapes.
