Accor continues its expansion into the Americas with a planned 2021 opening for a property in one of the Western Hemisphere’s most luxurious markets.
The company will continue to grow its luxury portfolio in North and Central America by introducing its vibrant SO/ Hotels & Resorts luxury brand in Los Cabos, Mexico, slated to open in late 2021.
An exciting and fashionable property, the new luxury beachfront hotel and residential construction will be located on the renowned Baja California Peninsula on the Pacific Coast of Mexico.
The first SO/ property in Mexico
The first SO/ property in Mexico, and the second in the region, the avant-garde hotel and residences will boast stylish interiors and décor combined with exceptionable signature services, lively social events, entertainment and unique experiences in a prime setting on the outskirts of San Jose del Cabo, an area well known for dramatic desert scenery and majestic ocean views.
Daring design is at the heart of the brand, and like all other SO/ properties around the world, SO/ Los Cabos Hotel & Residences will be brought to life by a celebrated fashion designer that will lend their artistic vision to the property.
Ideally situated on 7.5 acres of pristine beachfront, the property will be a glamorous and vibrant sanctuary with 200 chic rooms and 36 luxury residences with sweeping beach and ocean vistas.
Top-tier dining and lifestyle amenities
SO/ Los Cabos Hotel & Residences will offer an impressive rooftop experience at its two modern restaurants serving innovative Mexican gastronomy.
A trendy lounge with outstanding ocean views, surrounded by five swimming pools and striking event spaces with floor-to-ceiling glass windows complete the F&B venues.
The hotel will also feature 7,500 square-feet of flexible indoor and outdoor function space, a SO/ SPA offering bespoke treatments inspired by Mexican beauty rituals, access to an 18-hole Nicklaus Design golf course adjacent to the property and a SO/ FIT fitness centre with a striking glass-bottom pool.
