AC Hotels makes its mark in Fort Lauderdale

Marriott International’s AC Hotels brand has bolstered its ranks with the opening of a sleek property in the south of Florida. AC Hotel Fort Lauderdale Airport offers guests convenient accommodation within easy reach of the airport, the Port Everglades cruise terminals and Las Olas Boulevard.

“We are thrilled to expand the presence of AC Hotels in one of south Florida’s most up-and-coming travel destinations,” said Mychal Milian, general manager of AC Hotel Fort Lauderdale Airport. “Following an unprecedented year for the travel industry, we are excited to welcome guests and locals alike to escape traditional travel and experience a modern and purposeful stay at our 154-room property.”

An uncluttered design aesthetic

This new Fort Lauderdale hotel delivers spacious yet uncluttered guestrooms, perfect for travellers who appreciate a minimalist approach to decor. Moreover, its outdoor rooftop pool deck affords memorable views across the city, while inside the walls are graced with a carefully curated selection of artworks.

In terms of F&B, the AC Kitchen serves up a European-style breakfast in the mornings, which transitions to Spanish-inspired tapas for the afternoons and evenings. And the AC Lounge lobby bar lets guests unwind over a drink or two in an inviting social space.

Meanwhile, fitness fanatics can stay in shape at the 24-hour gym overlooking the pool and Fort Lauderdale’s soaring skyline.
