Luxury hotel group Four Seasons has signed to brand its fourth hotel in Morocco

Luxury hotel brand Four Seasons has signed a new development in Tangier, Morocco, taking its brand into a key growth market on the southern shores of the Mediterranean.

While technically set in north Africa, Four Seasons has promised that the project will combine “a rare connection between continents, cultures and coastlines”, as the resort overlooks the Strait of Gibraltar, and promises guests a view of Spain on a clear day. A partnership with Royal Resort Cap Malabata, a luxury development company supported by GFH Bank, the project will hsve 99 rooms, of which more than a quarter will be in the format of standalone villas.

Adding to an Existing Presence in Morocco

The resort will the the fourth destination in Morocco for the brand, joining operating sites in Casablanca, Marrakech and Rabat. “Four Seasons Resort Tangier expands our collection in one of the region’s most compelling destinations,” commented Ricardo Suarez, group head of development for the company. “We look forward to creating a Resort that reflects the character of Tangier while offering guests the opportunity to experience its unique coastal setting alongside the service excellence that defines Four Seasons.”

The Tangier project joins a growing pipeline of hotels, resorts and branded residences for Four Seasons, around the globe. The group has no less than six live projects in Saudi Arabia, as it plays a significant role in that country’s major tourism growth drive. Its programme starts with the opening later in 2026 of the Amaala Four Seasons hotel, on the country’s western coast.

Following in 2027 will be the 246 room Four Seasons Madinah, and Four Seasons Jeddah Corniche, a landmark project with 27 storey towers. Also coming to the same city will be a hotel in Jeddah Tower, in the north of the city, opening in 2028.

The group is also making its mark in Japan, with three new developments in progress. Two of these are in the Okinawa region, with both due to complete in 2027. Four Seasons Resort Okinawa Onna is a coastal destination, promising visitors the opportunity to swim from white sandy beaches, to explore coral reefs. And for those preferring an alternative choice, Four Seasons Resort and Private Residences Okinawa will be opening. Set within more than 40 hectares of coastal real estate, the development will include a beach club, open to both hotel guests and residents.

Residences Launch in Key US Cities

Next year will be a busy one for Four Seasons in the Americas. It will relaunch the Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara, following a major refurbishment of the 106 room resort. Similarly, a refit is planned at the Four Seasons Baltimore.

In Washington DC, the 70 unit Four Seasons Private Residences will open. Shortly thereafter, the Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Dallas Turtle Creek will launch. The 35 storey new build will feature a 205 room hotel, and residences with a variety of floorpan options.
