This week, IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a franchise agreement with Al Ameed Coffee to introduce its new premium collection brand, Noted Collection, to Amman, Jordan. The 50-room hotel will incorporate the country’s coffee culture into their stay.
Coffee as the Central Theme
The hotel is located along one of Amman’s main routes to Queen Alia International Airport, and the coffee theme carries through the entire building. The bottom two floors house a coffee reserve and experience center, built as a food and beverage space that focuses on the history, craft, and rituals of coffee. That same idea continues upstairs, with guestrooms and other touches throughout the hotel also designed around coffee. The surrounding area is growing fast, with new residential and commercial development and solid transport links, putting the hotel in an ideal spot to draw guests looking for a distinctive, upscale place to stay.
Noted Collection, launched recently as IHG’s 21st brand, is made up of independent hotels chosen for having a clear point of view and something worth talking about. Each property is picked for its character, sense of place, and ability to spark curiosity. The brand’s aim goes beyond just offering a place to stay, with each hotel meant to give guests something worth “discovering, sharing, and remembering.”
The Partners Behind the Concept
Haitham Mattar, Managing Director, India, Middle East & Africa, IHG Hotels & Resorts, said, “Jordan continues to strengthen its position as a long-term growth market, underpinned by national tourism development priorities and an increasingly diverse visitor base. That spirit makes this future coffee-inspired hotel in Amman a natural fit for our Noted Collection brand.”
For more than fifty years, Al Ameed Coffee has built its name in Jordan around quality, craftsmanship, and the ritual of coffee. That distinct identity made it a natural fit for Noted Collection, IHG’s brand for independent hotels with a clear point of view. Drawing on Al Ameed Coffee’s heritage, the hotel will offer a premium stay meant to spark curiosity, backed by IHG’s global reach.
Basel Daher, Managing Partner at Al Ameed Coffee, commented, “For more than five decades, Al Ameed Coffee has built its story around the craft and culture of coffee. This hotel is a natural evolution of that story, an opportunity to translate what we have created through coffee into a complete hospitality experience, rooted in Jordan and designed to be remembered.”
