JW Marriott makes its Greek debut with a stunning new beachfront resort on the coast of Crete

JW Marriott, part of Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio of over 30 hotel brands, announced today the opening of JW Marriott Crete Resort & Spa, the brand’s first highly anticipated Mediterranean beach resort, setting a new benchmark for luxury hospitality on the island.

JW Marriott Crete Resort & Spa is set along the stunning Aegean coastline near Chania. Designed by Athens-based Block722, the resort features natural materials, planted roofs, and native groves, creating a seamless connection between environment and architecture. Guests stay in 160 elegant rooms, suites, and villas—most with private pools—offering panoramic sea views and Mediterranean-inspired interiors.
