This week's Project of the Week is in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi. Set to open in 2025, The Telegraph Hotel will bring a new standard of luxury to the city.

Regional first

The Telegraph Hotel will be a regional first for Georgia, as the first hotel in the region to join the famed The Leading Hotels of the World.

Telegraph Hotel, part of the Leading Hotels of the World, was developed by Silk Development and managed by Silk Hospitality, an SRG subsidiary.

The 239-key property offers city views, complemented by culinary delights across seven diverse restaurants, a jazz club, state-of-the-art conference facilities, and sustainable, eco-friendly practices.

Situated in the city’s former post and telegraph headquarters, the Telegraph Hotel will undergo a thoughtful renovation before reopening later in 2025.

The business and superior guestrooms will be placed on the 5th floor, while the hotel’s top level will feature a presidential suite & penthouses.

Historical building

The Telegraph building has always been more than just a communication hub; it was a beacon of innovation for the city. The renovations will see Tbilisi rejuvenated into a local European city.

The hotel will also contain the first of its kind club and event venue under the legendary Rolling Stone trademark. The new venue is set to open on the rooftop of the Telegraph Hotel.
