White Elephant Resorts, the boutique American hotelier, has made major changes to its leadership lineup.

Growing operations

White Elephant Resorts has appointed Ashish Verma as Executive Vice President at a pivotal moment in the company’s evolution.

His appointment comes on the heels of a multi-million-dollar renovation of The Cottages at the Nantucket Boat Basin and ahead of the much-anticipated Aspen debut in late fall 2025.

In his new role, Verma will oversee operations across White Elephant Resorts’ growing portfolio, ensuring seamless execution of the brand’s signature guest experience, maintaining operational excellence across all properties, and leading strategic initiatives to support expansion.

Drawing from his extensive background in luxury hospitality, he will play a key role in furthering the group’s legacy of elevated service, thoughtful design, and a deep sense of destination.

Ashish Verma said, “I am honored to join the White Elephant Resorts team and am committed to upholding the company’s values of integrity and excellence. I look forward to contributing to the brand’s thoughtful and strategic growth.”

Premier American hotels

White Elephant Resorts is a collection of premier hotels and resorts on Nantucket, Massachusetts, and in Palm Beach, Florida.

In 2024, The Wauwinet and White Elephant Nantucket were ranked in Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best awards, and both White Elephant Nantucket and White Elephant Palm Beach were recipients of Conde Nast Traveler’s Readers’ Choice Awards.

TOPPER’s is AAA’s only “Five Diamond” restaurant on Nantucket and has been a recipient of Wine Spectator’s “Grand Award” for 28 consecutive years.
