Timur Sentuerk has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Doyle Collection.

The Irish family-owned luxury hotel group announced the appointment of the former Kempinski executive to the role in early December.

In his new role, Mr Sentuerk will oversee the strategic direction of The Doyle Collection, which operates a portfolio of hotels in Dublin, London, Washington D.C, Cork and Bristol.

Mr Sentuerk brings over 30 years of executive leadership experience in the luxury hospitality industry, with a track record at brands including Kempinski Hotels, Langham Hospitality Group, Pan Pacific Hotels Group, Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, and Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.

Mr Sentuerk joins The Doyle Collection from his most recent position as Chief Operating Officer at Kempinski Hotels, where he was responsible for overseeing a diverse portfolio of hotels and residences in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

He is also a keynote speaker at institutions including EHL Hospitality Business School Lausanne and The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Mr Sentuerk said he was excited to join the Doyle Collection, a group he had “admired from afar” for several years.

“I look forward to working with the team to continue building on this legacy,” he added.

“We have exciting opportunities ahead, and I am committed to ensuring that we deliver exceptional guest experiences, developing the brand in ways that feel relevant and exciting to the modern consumer while maintaining the brand’s core values”.
