OKU Hotels will be doubling its portfolio in Summer 2025, with the opening of OKU Andalusia and OKU Bodrum.

OKU Andalusia redefines family-friendly

OKU Andalusia will launch OKU Hotels’ family concept. This hotel will be squarely geared toward families while retaining the luxury elements of OKU’s previous designs. The family-friendly concept involves a kids club, an adventure playground and several dedicated kids zones.

The 255-key property will be on a secluded beach on Spain’s southern shore, with views of the Spanish coast and Africa. The beachside retreat will span almost 10 hectares of gardens, with multiple swimming pools, a spa and wellness facility and four dining venues, including an adults-only beach club open to guests and visitors.

Wellness facilities include an open-air wellness space with a medicinal kitchen garden and yoga pavilion, four tennis courts, two padel courts, and a multi-sports pitch, with bucket-list golf experiences available at various world-renowned courses within minutes of the hotel.

Room concepts span across terraced suites with private pools, roof terrace rooms with expansive ocean views, two-bedroom suites for friends and families and one 4-bedroom villa.

Oku Bodrum brings the brand to Türkiye

OKU Bodrum is due to be located on the Bodrum Peninsula’s north coast and will be the brand’s first outpost in Türkiye. The boutique, adults-only property is also due to open in the summer of 2025.

It will contain 58 rooms and suites, each one offering front-facing sea views, terraces, and several with a private pool.

Guest accommodations are mostly suites, with design elements including finishes in local marble, integrated breezeways to promote ventilation and cooling, and walls crafted from reclaimed stone excavated from the original foundations.

Hotel interiors reflect OKU’s signature boho-chic, minimalistic style, from earth-toned linens to natural materials, and contemporary lines.

OKU Bodrum will boast views of the mountains on one side, and the Aegean on the other. The resort capitalises on its seafront location with direct access to a protected bay for swimming and a private jetty with boat access.

The Bodrum resort is set to have three dining outlets across a range of options. OKU’s signature Japanese fusion restaurant, OKU Restaurant, will be in an open-air setting. At the heart of the hotel, the poolside To Kima Restaurant will serve relaxed Mediterranean fare, with a fusion twist. Finally, a Sunset Bar will be perched on the cove-side jetty, serving a selection of meze snacks and crafted cocktails.

Like its Andalusian counterpart, OKU Bodrum will also have a fully stocked wellness spa for guests to enjoy.

Oku plans careful expansion

OKU was launched with OKU Kos in July 2020, shortly followed by OKU Ibiza in April 2021. In the coming years, OKU Hotels will continue expanding its portfolio, strengthening both its adults-only offering, and the new family-friendly collection.

OKU has two properties at present, in Ibiza and Kos. Next summer’s additions will take OKU’s portfolio to four properties.

Upcoming properties in the pipeline will see the brand expand beyond the Mediterranean, with CEO, Piers Bradley, sharing that “OKU’s expanding portfolio provides a great growth opportunity, as we bring our laidback luxury touch to a safari experience in South Africa and an island resort in the Indian Ocean in the near future.

“Experiences play a vital role in the selection of our new properties, with a focus on authentic locations that invite our well-travelled and thoughtful guests to share their time with OKU.”
