Dubai’s upcoming Avalon Tower hotel is our pick for this week’s Project of the Week. The development is the latest from The First Group and will be located in the popular district of Jumeirah Village.

Prime locale

Avalon Tower is located close to many of Dubai’s major attractions and transportation links, including the Dubai World Central Airport. The 349-room hotel is situated at the pinnacle of two of Dubai’s primary road arteries, Al Khail Road and Sheik Mohamed Bin Zayed Road.

The 17-storey hotel will contain a range of premium business, dining and leisure facilities including a luxury Club House and rooftop swimming pool.

Luxe amenities

It’ll also be a stone’s throw from world-class golf courses and the upcoming 400,000 square metre Circle Mall.

Amenities include 24-hour reception, a business lounge, free WiFi, a gymnasium, laundry service, satellite television, a swimming pool, valet parking services and world-class dining facilities.

The four-star development will be overseen by Millennium and Copthorne, one of the world’s largest owner-operator groups. The architectural consultant for the project was Al Hawraa Engineering Consultants
