Hilton’s most anticipated openings of 2025

Hilton has unveiled a selection of its forthcoming hotel openings in 2025, which is set to include plenty of brand debuts and new markets for the hotel giant.

EMEA 

In Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Hilton has a range of upcoming projects which span across their storied brands. 

In Spain, the Palacio Bellas Artes Hotel San Sebastian will be Hilton’s first hotel in the coastal city. One of the city’s most iconic buildings, the historic Fine Arts Theatre, will be extensively redeveloped under the Curio Collection brand. The 81-key property will feature amenities including meeting spaces, a gym and a restaurant. It’s expected to open in Q4 of 2025. 

Hilton’s luxury Conrad brand will be making two debuts in Europe next year, with Conrad Athens The Ilsian and Conrad Hamburg both set to open in the latter half of 2025. 

Conrad Athens will transform the former Hilton Athens into a mixed-use hub. The 280-key hotel will include a rooftop suite and 18 hotel residences, plus an additional 37 private residences as Waldorf Astoria Residences on the upper floors of the building. Other highlights include a semi-Olympic outdoor pool and a 700m long outdoor running track on the mezzanine rooftop. 

The second Conrad is expected to open in the summer of 2025 in Hamburg’s Levantehaus building, and will be the debut of Hilton’s luxury Conrad Hotels & Resorts brand in Germany. The 238-key hotel will also offer meeting rooms, a lounge bar and restaurant, a spa, gym and pool.  

Other highlights for 2025 include the 80-room Marcus Hotel Portrush in Northern Ireland, the 154-room Canopy by Hilton Cape Town Longkloof in South Africa, and the 110-key Canopy by Hilton Istanbul Taksim

In the Middle East, Signia by Hilton Amman will mark the brand’s first property outside the United States. Located in a prime area of the Jordanian capital of Amman, the hotel will feature 272 guest rooms and suites and seven different dining venues. There will also be a spa and fitness centre, a bowling and entertainment centre and event space. 

In Africa, Hilton Accra Cantonments will be opening in the third quarter of 2025. It will offer 145 guest rooms and a range of dining options, including an all-day dining restaurant, a lobby lounge and pool bar. Facilities include a gym, spa, and an outdoor swimming pool. There will also be more than 900 square metres of event space including a ballroom, seven meeting rooms and an executive boardroom.   

Asia Pacific 

Hilton has two exciting openings in 2025 in Asia Pacific, both in Q2 2025. 

The first is the upcoming Waldorf Astoria Osaka in Japan, which will span 12 stories of a 39-story high-rise in the district of the new Grand Green Osaka urban mixed-use development. The 252-key hotel will house three distinct restaurants including Waldorf Astoria’s famed Peacock Alley. Leisure facilities include an indoor pool, wellness centre, and fitness centre. The hotel will offer a dedicated chapel for weddings, as well as extensive banquet and meeting facilities. 

The other will be Kromo, a Curio Collection hotel in Bangkok, Thailand. The 306-room Kromo hotel will be located in a prime location close to Sukhumvit’s vibrant shopping belt. It’ll be conveniently located near Bangkok’s Skytrain stations and Benchasiri Park. There will be three dining concepts, as well as a fitness centre and indoor and outdoor pools. 

Americas

The Americas has several exciting openings across North, South and Central America. 

In the United States, the Waldorf Astoria New York will be reopening in Spring 2025, after a thoughtfully-crafted restoration led by architects Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and interior design by Pierre-Yves Rochon. The 375-room hotel will also include private residences, fully furnished by B&B Italia. Wellness facilities include a spa and a fitness centre, as well as event space and a signature restaurant. 

Another Waldorf Astoria will be opening in Cacique, Costa Rica. The 188-room hotel will be situated on a cliffside peninsula and will include six dining outlets, an extensive wellness program, and a spa. It’s due to open in the first quarter of 2025. 

In the Caribbean, Delfins Beach Resort Bonaire will be debuting at the end of 2024 as part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton. The 148-room hotel will offer top-tier amenities including outdoor pools, a pristine beach, and on-property experiences such as diving and swimming. 

Hilton has a portfolio of 24 brands, over 8,300 properties and over 1.25 million rooms in 138 countries and territories.
