IHG is making big moves across its Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio for 2025, with plans to introduce several flagship high-end properties in the year to come. This will make the portfolio the second largest in the world.

The major hotel chain will be expanding across its Regent Hotels & Resorts, InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Vignette Collection, Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants and Six Senses brands. This is set to include a range of different hotel types, from urban hotels to island resorts.

Six Senses

For the Six Senses brand, the much-anticipated London outpost at the famed Whiteley building will be opening in the first half of 2025. This 109-key hotel will be Six Senses’ entry into the UK, and will also feature 14 residences. A private members club has also been planned for the space.

Regent Hotels & Resorts

Regent Hotels & Resorts, IHG’s top end offering in the luxury hotel segment, has two openings planned for 2025. The first, Regent Bali Canggu, will be opening in the first half of the year. The resort will have 150 rooms and suites, alongside two signature chef-led restaurants and a Regent Spa.

In the second half of the year, Regent Jeddah Corniche will be opening in Saudi Arabia. The 29-storey hotel will have 182 rooms and five penthouses. Amenities include a spa and health club.

Dinso Resort & Villas will be opening in Koh Chang, Thailand shortly after. RIHGA Royal Hotel Osaka will round out the Vignette Collection offering, with a complete refurbishment of the iconic Japanese hotel planned and due for relaunch in the first half of the year.
