Project of the Week: Swissôtel Resort Bodrum Hill

Our latest Project of the Week is a sumptuous five star Swissôtel resort taking shape on the Yokusbasi hills overlooking Bodrum, Türkiye.

This addition to Accor’s luxury brand will combine elegant rooms and suites alongside private residences, all featuring stylish contemporary design, cutting-edge technology and warm Swiss hospitality.

Panoramic project

Swissôtel Resort Bodrum Hill, with panoramas of Bodrum Castle, Kos Island, Karaada and surrounding forests, is being built on a 32 acre area by Çağdaş Holding group companies. It will feature modern interior and exterior architectural design, with wide living spaces constructed from high-quality materials.

The wholly integrated resort will consist of 65 hotel rooms, 26 apartments and five villas. The residences comprise apartments, duplexes and villas of between 90 sq m and 558 sq m. Set within the natural landscape, the buildings will feature private indoor/outdoor swimming pools for each of the ground level suites and guestrooms.

Eating and relaxing

Two restaurants and bars will cater to both leisure guests and business travellers, serving Turkish and world cuisine with quality ingredients and fresh products in a modern atmosphere.

A Swissôtel Purovel Spa & Sport-branded deluxe spa and fitness facility including massage rooms and a Turkish bath will be available onsite, providing an Alpine-inspired solution to healthy living within a stylish and contemporary environment.

Work and play

The resort will house Bodrum’s largest sports complex, with a significant part of the development reserved as a recreation area.

An ultra-modern meeting and conference space will provide the flexibility to accommodate substantial numbers of delegates and different sized events, with facilities including a ballroom, exhibition halls, a business centre and meeting rooms.

Design and delays

UK-based Mixity Design crafted the resort’s architecture, with US-headquartered Brayton Hughes Design Studios creating the interiors. Local hospitality and real estate consultant Servotel Corporation also assisted with the development.

The project was first announced in 2015 with a Q1 2016 opening date. However, after several delays, construction is now in full swing with completion now planned for Q3 this year.
