Hamiltons International and Denniston led the design of this property, with PIA Interior Company and BAMO also collaborating on the interiors. Duravit contributed as a supplier.

A design destination

Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River places guests at the heart of Bangkok’s Creative District in a collection of riverside tiered buildings connected at ground-level by indoor and outdoor space comprising restaurants and courtyards.

In this enclave, art-filled spaces lie amid open-air terraces, water features and tropical greenery. This site was designed by Hamiltons International and Jean-Michel Gathy of Denniston with both formal and expressive, free-flowing arrangements of architectural forms.

The courtyards are designed to develop a spatial narrative and stepped roof forms reference traditional Thai architecture and art. Each space is opened up by its high ceilings and glass walls, with pools and flowing water added to create constant movement.

The interiors then reference Thailand’s natural beauty and Bangkok’s urban charm, with an art collection that was brought together by Gathy. An ART Space in partnership with MOCA Bangkok runs through the lobby.

A tranquil urban retreat

In this architecturally impressive space, guests can enjoy original drinking and dining concepts, retreat to the onsite urban spa and make the most of 41,000 sq ft of event space designed by Jean-Michel Gathy including the Four Seasons Grand Ballroom with a dedicated outside Ballroom Terrace.

Guests of the 299-key hotel are accommodated in modern rooms and suites that are designed to have a warm, residential feel. Each high-ceilinged space with floor to ceiling windows pairs contemporary aesthetics with high tech features and Thai touches. Views take in the river or gardens.

Highlights of this accommodation offering include the luxurious Terrace Suites with landscaped and furnished terraces and the 10th-floor Presidential Suite with a bar, catering kitchen, up to three bedrooms, a terrace with plunge pool and two-storey windows providing unmatched river views.
