IHG has marked voco hotels’ second opening in Italy with the debut of voco Venice Mestre – The Quid.

This new voco hotel places guests close to the bypass connecting Mestre to Venice Marco Polo airport and the area’s main train station, Venice-Mestre.

A reflection of the voco hotels collection

IHG partnered with HNH Hospitality to open this new voco hotel in the capital of Italy’s Veneto region, with a hospitality offering that caters for both business and leisure travel.

Each property in the voco hotels portfolio is designed to stand out from the crowd, pairing the expertise of an international brand with the informality and charm of a boutique hotel.

Giorgia Gasparini, general manager of voco Venice Mestre – The Quid, commented: “voco Venice Mestre – The Quid is a great example of how the voco brand has been brought to life and we are excited to be hosting our very first guests.”

“The hotel offers guests the perfect place to work, relax and be themselves – whether that means having some me time in a tranquil and serene bedroom or spent socialising with friends, family and or colleagues in our great onsite bar.”

Character and functionality

This hotel reflects the property’s character and spirit in contemporary interiors that are also designed for functionality. Guests are accommodated in 128 warm and inviting guest rooms featuring artisanal decor and playful decorative touches.

During their stay, guests can make use of the hotel’s fitness room and spacious Congress Centre comprising five meeting rooms. The lobby area features a gaming area that’s connected to the restaurant and bar, Ludico Drinks, Food & Play offering Italian dishes made with fresh local ingredients and a terrace for cocktails at golden hour.

Public spaces pair smokey blue hues with natural wood and indoor greenery to create a connection between the indoor and outdoor space. Touches of voco’s signature yellow feature throughout.

The hotel is designed and operated with sustainability in mind, with initiatives including the use of LED lighting to reduce energy consumption, the use of eco-friendly bathroom amenities from Antipodes and the installation of several electric car charging points.
