Dream Hotel Group’s newly announced property, Dream Frisco, will become the hospitality centrepiece of a new mixed-use development near Dallas in Texas.

This 200-key Dream Hotel is currently on track to open in 2026 within the 230-acre Firefly Park complex in the historic town of Frisco.

The latest Dream Hotel

The boutique Dream Frisco hotel is set to undergo development under the expertise of Texas-based real estate and investment company Wilks Development, with UN Studio and Sasaki Architects behind the design.

Highlights of the 200-room hotel are to include an expansive rooftop pool deck and bar, a signature restaurant, nightclub, social club and lobby bar, as well as a fitness centre.

The property will place guests in a central location, between US Highway 380 and the Dallas North Tollway, at the heart of the new Firefly Park development.

A new lifestyle destination

At Firefly Park, the hotel will join an expanse of commercial office space, 2,200 luxury residential mid- and high-rise units and townhomes, a number of dining and drinking venues, a large retail space, music hall and outdoor amphitheatre.

This mixed-use development is set to take shape within 230 acres of untouched Texas countryside with public spaces to include a creek park and nature reserve with miles of hiking and biking trails, water features and playground facilities.

The mixed-use development is set to break ground in 2023 with the hotel slated to welcome its first guests in 2026.

Frisco is now one of the fastest growing cities in the United States, with a name that comes from its origins as a hospitable stop for travellers on the Shawnee/Preston Trail and subsequent St. Louis-San Francisco Railway. The city is rapidly evolving to offer more lifestyle and entertainment options.
