Hilton Worldwide has announced the signing of a 230-key property in N’Djamena, which will feature its very own speciality restaurant, sky bar and banquet hall.

This milestone signing will bring the Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand to the second district of N’Djamena.

A strategic location

Hilton Worldwide and Wotf Turizm Ticaret Anonim Sirketi have signed a deal to open Hilton N’Djamena Toumaï Palace in 2022. The property, located in N’Djamena’s second district, will be part of the International Business Centre and just 600 m from N’Djamena International Airport.

Andrew McLachlan, managing director of development in Sub-Saharan Africa at Hilton, said: “It’s a proud moment for us to be returning to Chad with a flagship Hilton property in a prime location in the country’s commercial hub. This area of N’Djamena is well-known to visitors and, once open, the new Hilton will provide best-in-class facilities and renowned Hilton hospitality.”

A new hotel experience for the locale

This new hotel will accommodate guests in 230 guestrooms, which are to include 19 suites for extended stays, as well as a presidential suite.

Among the extensive amenities within the property will be a specialty restaurant, lobby bar and lounge, and impressive sky bar. Guests will also be able to make use of fitness facilities, an outdoor pool and ample event space in the form of a banquet hall, six meeting rooms and an executive lounge with private meeting room.

Bulut Bağcı, director of Wotf Turizm Ticaret Anonim Sirketi, said: “It’s very exciting to be partnering with Hilton on this new development in Chad. We are confident the property will set the standard for modern, upscale accommodation in N’Djamena as a first choice for travellers arriving to Chad for business and leisure.”

Hilton now has over 100 properties in operation or under development across Africa. Its recent openings include the 2021-debuted Mango House Seychelles, LXR Hotels & Resorts.
