Fairfield by Marriott Kuala Lumpur, Jalan Pahang, which encapsulates the brand’s ‘modern calm’ aesthetic, has started hosting business and leisure travellers in the Malaysian capital.

The 186-key hotel pairs the brand’s signature style with a range of amenities, including a locally inspired restaurant and ample event space.

An appealing location

The December 2021-opened Fairfield by Marriott Kuala Lumpur, Jalan Pahang takes inspiration from the beauty of simplicity and warm hospitality. It’s located less than 10 km from the city centre and just a five-minute walk from monorail and LRT stations, providing easy access to attractions such as the Petronas Twin Towers.

“We are excited to bring the second Fairfield by Marriott hotel to Malaysia with the opening of Fairfield by Marriott Kuala Lumpur, Jalan Pahang,” said Rivero Delgado, Marriott International’s area vice president for Singapore, Malaysia and the Maldives.

“At Fairfield by Marriott Kuala Lumpur, Jalan Pahang, guests can escape the chaos of travel and get back to a more calm, balanced place, even in the heart of a bustling city like Kuala Lumpur,” added general manager David Scully. “We look forward to welcoming business and leisure travellers to experience our warm hospitality and uplifting spaces.”

Comfort and convenience

The hotel is home to 186 spacious guestrooms designed with comfort and convenience in mind, with bathrooms seamlessly opening up into each room. Moreover, the Superior Room comes with a separate living and dining area, and a bedroom providing views over the city.

The rest of the hotel embodies the Fairfield by Marriott brand’s ‘modern calm’ aesthetic. Among the property’s highlights are its multifunctional lobby complete with a grab-and-go market, 24-hour fitness centre and 16-seat boardroom.

Meanwhile, signature restaurant Lesung offers a fresh take on local Malaysian cuisine, western classics and the Malay Archipelago-inspired dishes of executive chef Daneh. The all-day dining venue also offers an international breakfast buffet.

These amenities are joined by a prayer room, distinguished by its Moorish architecture, panoramic city views and capacity to host Malay wedding solemnisation ceremonies for up to 60 guests.
