Hilton Worldwide’s Tapestry Collection has made its first foray into South America with the debut of a 138-room scheme, which boasts its very own bowling alley, in Greater São Paulo.

A stylish hotel on the outskirts of South America’s largest city has become the latest addition to Hilton Worldwide’s ranks.

Tapestry Collection taps into South America

Almenat Hotel, a member of the fast-growing Tapestry Collection, is a 138-key property located 21 miles from the heart of São Paulo. Leisure travellers in particular will no doubt appreciate its position close to Embu das Artes, a picturesque Jesuit town dating all the way back to 1554.

“We are thrilled to continue our growth throughout Latin America with the opening of Almenat Hotel, our first Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Brazil,” said Jorge Giannattasio, Hilton’s senior vice president and head of operations for the Caribbean and Latin America. “Brazil remains a focus in our company’s regional expansion and we look forward to further increasing our in-market portfolio with the upcoming arrival of eight hotels in the next four years.”

Retro chic in the jungle

Almenat Hotel is surrounded by the Amazon rainforest, and the hotel’s interiors reflect Brazil’s signature style, blending retro silhouettes with colourful shapes and natural materials. The tradition of craftsmanship from Embu das Artes is also echoed in the hotel’s design, which fosters a relaxing atmosphere across both public and private spaces.

The scheme’s 138 guestrooms boast a carefully considered decor that complements the natural surroundings. There’s a state-of-the-art gym, a tennis court, soccer fields, an all-purpose court, a selection of indoor and outdoor pools and a forest walking trail – plus a bowling alley with eight lanes.

Meanwhile, the Embu and Japi restaurants offer both local and international fare, while the lobby market serves guests looking to refuel on the go. Business travellers are well-catered for too, with the property incorporating no fewer than 22 flexible meeting rooms.
