Marking the arrival of The Langham brand in South-East Asia, this new 223-key luxury scheme is now taking bookings ahead of its much-anticipated opening on 9 September 2021.

The Langham, Jakarta will boast an exceptional restaurant and bar offering, including new venues by celebrity chef Tom Aikens, Michelin-star magnet T’ang Court and award-winning bar Artesian.

A new landmark hotel

Upon opening on 9 September 2021, The Langham, Jakarta, will host guests in an impressive space distinguished by a ten-metre-high lobby with chandeliers by Lasvit.

The property’s dining options will be spearheaded by Tom’s, a restaurant by Tom Aikens, and T’ang Court, an offshoot of the three-Michelin-star Cantonese fine-dining venue of the same name at The Langham, Hong Kong. Guests will also be able to indulge in afternoon tea at grand dining emporium Alice, and enjoy cocktails in a rooftop outpost of The Langham London’s famous Artesian bar.

Gaylord Lamy, general manager of The Langham, Jakarta, said: “There has been a tremendous amount of anticipation and interest about The Langham in this dynamic city over the years, and we are beyond thrilled that guests may soon experience the legendary Langham service in this stunning hotel in a month’s time.”

A wealth of luxury amenities

Travellers are to be accommodated across 223 rooms, including the 336 sq m Presidential Suite. While staying here, guests will have access to the hotel’s 59th-floor Langham Club lounge, which features outstanding views of Jakarta.

Visitors will also be encouraged to make the most of the hotel’s writer’s corner, reading library, private arrival and departure options, and dedicated butler service, as well as the wellness facilities of Chuan Spa, where treatments are inspired by traditional Chinese medicine. Its 670 sq m wellness space, meanwhile, will house a fitness centre and Jakarta’s highest indoor infinity pool.

Meetings and events, such as weddings, will be hosted in 2,100 sq m of flexible space, including 11 meeting rooms, a 688 sq m ballroom and an outdoor garden.

The hotel is conveniently located within a prestigious new complex, District 8, at Sudirman Central Business District.
