NH Hotel Group is preparing to open a 375-key nhow hotel within a landmark skyscraper rising 49 storeys high in one of Germany’s largest cities.

Expected to launch in the second quarter of 2022, nhow Frankfurt will reflect the trendy lifestyle hotel brand’s focus on design.

An architecturally inspiring setting

Frankfurt’s newest hotel is now taking shape in the One office-and-hotel skyscraper complex, which has been brought forward by CA Immo. This high-rise building will stand 190 metres high and boast a woven-structure façade designed by local architectural firm Meurer Generalplaner.

The lower 14 storeys of this 49-storey building will be home to the hotel, with office space taking up the rest of the tower. This forthcoming ‘four-star superior’ hotel will house 375 design-led guestrooms, incorporating premium amenities such as high-tech mattresses, rain-effect showers and Nespresso machines.

Creating vibrant spaces

The hotel’s accommodation will be complemented by a restaurant, a bar and fitness areas, as well as 1,000 sq m of event space and access to parking. The One building will also contain the open-air Skybar with wraparound terrace, providing views over Frankfurt and the Taunus mountains.

Overall, the nhow brand aims to connect with local cultural scenes. The founder of The Null, Enrique Tellechea, came up with the design concept, and architect Rafael de la Hoz is leading the interior design element.

The new hotel will provide a base for guests to access the Kap Europa conference centre, Skyline Plaza and Messe. It’s set to become only the second nhow hotel in Germany, joining the brand’s existing outpost in Berlin.
