Hotel Melby, part of the prestigious Tapestry Collection by Hilton brand, is one of the most exciting new hotels to hit Melbourne, Florida in years.
Hilton Worldwide’s Tapestry Collection has bolstered its Florida portfolio with the opening of Hotel Melby, an upscale offering in the heart of downtown Melbourne.
Hotel Melby’s impressive location
The new Hotel Melby is conveniently situated near the beach, Orlando-Melbourne International Airport and the Florida Institute of Technology. A joint venture between Duke Hospitality, Willow Street Capital, LCP Group, The Charre Group and Opterra Capital, it’s managed by Hospitality Alliance and Duke Hospitality.
“Hotel Melby’s entrance into the market will offer a one-of-a-kind, unique experience for our guests,” said Carlos Cerda, the hotel’s general manager. “Guests will enjoy excellently appointed, modern guestrooms with city and river views, while having the benefit of all the amenities expected of an upscale hotel.”

This 180-key hotel is spread over 11 storeys. In keeping with Tapestry Collection’s commitment to delivering vibrant properties that match the spirit of their locations, Hotel Melby offers guests a state-of-the-art, full-service venue oozing eclectic style and a free-spirited, approachable attitude.
Perhaps the highlight of the hotel is The Landing Rooftop, which affords visitors expansive 180-degree views out over the city, and serves up local fare and signature cocktails. The property also boasts a 24-hour fitness centre complete with Peloton equipment, as well as 2,525 sq ft of flexible meeting and event space, including the New Horizons Ballroom, which can accommodate up to 150 guests.
