When it opens in 2022, Hampton by Hilton’s new property will join a select few internationally branded hotels in the Unesco World Heritage-listed Georgian city of Bath.
The forthcoming hotel promises to provide a quality-driven, value-conscious stay within easy reach of the city’s famous sites. We take a look at what details have been revealed so far.
Surrounded by history
Created through a partnership between Hilton and Dominvs Group, Hampton by Hilton Bath is on track to make its debut in the first quarter of 2022.
The newbuild occupies a prime position on James Street, making it the ideal base for visiting local attractions like the Roman Baths, Pulteney Bridge, the Theatre Royal and the Jane Austen Centre. Bath, internationally renowned for its grand Georgian architecture and natural hot springs, was inscribed by Unesco as a World Heritage Site in 1987.
A new addition to Bath’s hotel scene
Dominvs Group’s proposal for this site was developed in support of the Bath spatial strategy to bring more hotels to the city. The contemporary building by architectural firm Dexter Moren Associates is designed to stay true to the soul of the area.
Covering a total area of 84,486 sq ft, the new hotel will comprise 209 thoughtfully designed guest rooms. In line with other Hampton by Hilton properties, amenities here are to include complimentary wifi and a hot breakfast.
