$56m renovation for Harrah’s Coastal Tower in Atlantic City
Caesars Entertainment is to pump $56m into a complete overhaul of the Coastal Tower at Harrah’s Resort in the pleasure capital of Atlantic City.
Coastal Tower renovation
Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City, the city’s premier resort, hotel and casino destination, recently announced its plans to give a complete overhaul to the guest rooms and suites in its 507-room Coastal Tower.
The renovation works will involve modernising the guest rooms and suites by expanding their footprint by stripping away unnecessary elements, freshly considered bathrooms with larger showers and mod cons such as high-speed WiFi, charging stations and LED TV screens.
The colour palette of the rooms and suites will be executed in a mixture of lavenders and blues offset by greys and whites.
The revamp of the Coastal Tower is part of a wider scheme being undertaken by Caesars Entertainment, who owns Harrah’s Resort, as well as other properties owned by Caesars in Atlantic City, to invest in and upgrade their hotels in the city.
This masterplan has been going on for four years already, and included a $125m investment into the Waterfront Conference Centre and the revamping of the Pool After Dark club and the opening of a Gordon Ramsay restaurant.
The specific revamp to the Coastal Tower will bring it in line with another property belonging to the resort, Bayview Tower, which underwent a $30m renovation of its 450 rooms last year.
Kevin Ortzman, Regional President for Caesars Entertainment, Atlantic City Region, said, “With world-class restaurants, Las-Vegas style nightlife, one of the East Coast’s preeminent conference centers, a first-class sports book, and A-list entertainment experiences, all under one roof, we are thrilled to continue to enhance our resort offering by upgrading our guest rooms and suites for our customers. Whether visiting for work or play, Harrah’s Resort offers something for everyone, within a singular resort destination.”
