Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa near Austin has completed a multimillion-dollar guestroom transformation programme with the help of Stonehill Taylor.

The scheme, which spans 405 acres of scenic terrain next to the Colorado River, has benefitted from a far-reaching makeover.

Stonehill Taylor works its magic

The revamp of Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa by Stonehill Taylor has involved the complete transformation of the property’s 434 guestrooms and 56 suites. This follows on from the 2020-completed updates to its event space, when the property’s LBJ Pavilion and Wildflower Pavilion were fitted with floor-to-ceiling retractable glass walls.

The reimagined rooms and suites embody an upscale and sophisticated ranch feel, paying tribute to the hotel’s central location in the Lone Star State.

Complementing the Texan landscape

The refreshed rooms and suites have a bright and airy feel and colour scheme, accented with burgundy and bright blue tones, to complement the stunning views outside. New features include Hyatt Grand Beds, which feature a leatherbound headboard with built-in ambient and accent lighting, along with a collage of black-and-white local photographs, a modern hearth doubling as a wall mount for flat screen TVs and earthy handwoven tapestries.

The resort’s suites have also been given a facelift, introducing new furnishings and carpets as well as wood-framed, queen-sized Murphy Beds in many cases. And the corridors have been upgraded too, with stylish carpets laid down and contemporary light fittings installed.
