Riviera Point Development Group has launched the US$42 million Radisson Red Miami Airport hotel, which features locally inspired artwork curated by muralist Daniel Fila.
Developed, owned and operated by Riviera Point Development Group, this vibrant property benefits from its convenient location in one of Florida’s largest cities.
A hotel showcasing Miami’s spirit
The newly opened Radisson Red Miami Airport places guests within five minutes of Miami International Airport and less than five miles from neighbourhoods such as Little Havana, Wynwood and downtown Miami. It hosts business and leisure travellers across 157 guestrooms and suites, which are all pet-friendly.
The interiors here feature the Wynwood-inspired artworks of 14 local artists. From bold murals to limited-edition prints, these works have been curated by celebrated Miami muralist Daniel Fila.
“We are incredibly proud to be opening the fourth Radisson Red in the Americas with this unique hotel that truly captures the essence of Miami’s culture,” said Aly El-Bassuni, chief operating officer, Radisson Hotel Group Americas.
“Thanks to the commitment and hard work of this hotel’s outstanding owners, the hotel was constructed with great amenities and authentic Radisson Red design that creates an upscale modern lifestyle experience. We look forward to continue growing this fantastic brand in dynamic cities throughout the Americas.”
“Every aspect of Radisson Red is fresh and innovative in the upscale select-service segment,” added Rodrigo Azpúrua, CEO of Riviera Point Development Group. “It’s a great fit for the Miami market with its role as a global leisure destination and as the business gateway to Latin America. We’re excited to open our doors and confident in the outlook for the years ahead.”
Exciting new lifestyle venues
This art-filled hotel’s impressive amenities include a fitness centre, an outdoor pool and 2,000 sq ft of event space that can seat up to 100 people.
A highlight of Radisson Red Miami Airport is its onsite restaurant OUIBar + KTCHN, encompassing both indoor and outdoor space adjacent to the lobby, which offers cuisine celebrating Miami’s distinctive Latin flair. From here, guests can move onto the rooftop bar, pairing cocktails with unbeatable views over Magic City.
Guests benefit from complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport, as well as free parking, and the hotel is the ideal base for sports fans attending a basketball game at the American Airlines Arena or baseball game at LoanDepot Park.
